It’s Thanksgiving Eve and I’m just a tad bit excited over here! Thanksgiving is such a great holiday, I usually start mine out by watching the Macy’s Day Parade and then Mike and I head over to my moms for her delicious dinner. I can’t wait to eat some turkey and mashed potatoes with gravy. The best.
Life can sometimes be challenging and busy making it easy to forget how blessed you really are. Take time this Thanksgiving to reflect and make a list of some things you’re thankful for. Acknowledge all the good in your life. Thankfulness opens your heart to God and he will give you joy.
This year I am thankful for…
Jesus (I’m so thankful for Jesus and everything he has done for me. He saved me and gives me life, while continuously providing me with everything I need.)
My husband (I’m thankful for him because he is my best friend and he’s always supporting and loving me.)
My family and friends (I love them so much. I’m thankful for them for always being there for me and encouraging me along the way.)
Health (I’m thankful for my health, along with the health of my husband, family, and friends.)
My blog (Yes, I am thankful for this tiny corner of the internet that I call mine. I’m also thankful for you. A shout out to you for reading this post and for all the people who always visit my little blog.)
New job (I am grateful for my new job and all of the opportunities I have in my life.)
There is definitely a lot more that I am thankful for, but this list sums up the major things. I hope this holiday you will love your family, your friends, and yourself. Have a wonderful Turkey Day friends!
