Spring is here! I absolutely love Spring time and can’t wait until it warms up for good. For some much needed Spring inspiration to lift our spirits, and hopefully yours too, I am sharing a simple and lovely DIY wreath that I made. It’s so easy to make, it didn’t take long, and it cost less than $20.00.
So here’s how to make one for yourself!
Supplies:
18 in. Grapevine wreath
2 Sets of fake Hydrangeas (I chose pink & white)
Burlap
Scissors
Stapler/ Glue gun
Tape Measure
I got all of my supplies from Michaels, they have been running great sales on spring flowers, and they always have really awesome coupons. I always check RetailMeNot before I go to the craft store, a lot of the time they are offering 40% off a single item deals.
The first thing I did was make the bow. At first, this scared me a little because I am not the best at tying beautiful bows.. BUT Pinterest came to the rescue. I searched through different tutorials until I found the best one for me. This woman’s tutorial on How to Make a Perfect Bow is amazing! Its easy to read and easy to do! I am so happy with the way my bow came out. (I did use hot glue instead of a stapler while making my bow because my stapler just would stay in the burlap fabric I had.)
Next, I cut the stems of my flowers so that they were just long enough that I can stick them inside of the sticks of the grapevine wreath. Once I liked the arrangement, I glued the bow on the top of the wreath and excitedly ran downstairs to hang it on the door. 🙂 Yes, excitedly is totally a word if not, it is now!
It really is that easy. I just love it so much and can’t believe it turned out so well for such little effort. It’s simple and beautiful. & Now I have something pretty to hang on my front door. As always, thanks for reading. I hope you all have a great week and a wonderful Easter!! 🙂
