Happy New Year! I have a super awesome recipe I want to share today. This no bake Oreo truffle recipe is so easy & delicious! I am always on the look out for Oreo dessert recipes because my husband loves them so much. I made these for the holidays to bring to my parents, and in-laws houses and everyone loved them! ย My one grandma even requested next year instead of buying her a gift, to make these for her! Totally noted. I love hand-made gifts and these are perfect for that with some cute packaging.
So, without further ado, I give you this easy, no bake, 3 ingredient Oreo truffle recipe!
You will need:
1 8oz Block of cream cheese (softened)
1 Package of Oreos
1 Bag of white melting chocolate
Directions:
– Finely crush Oreo’s. You can use a food processor (I used my ninja) or you can put them in a Ziploc bag and crush them. You’ll want to set a little aside to decorate your truffles with.
-Next you will add your cream cheese and mix it up until completely combined.
-Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
-Using a spoon, (or cookie scooper) shape your mix into balls and place on your cookie sheet.
-Place the cookie sheet and put in the freezer for 20 minutes. This step is important as it makes the balls firm and easy to work with,
-Melt your white chocolate wafers. I melted mine in the microwave in 20 second intervals, stirring after each interval.
-Take your balls out of the freezer and coat them in the white chocolate and place them back on the parchment paper. Use the crushed Oreo’s you set aside and sprinkle on-top while the melting chocolate is still wet.
-Let the chocolate set and then place your finished Oreo truffles back in the fridge when done coating to affirm hardness for about 10 minutes.ย If there are leftovers keep them stored in tupperware in the fridge.
Enjoy!! ๐
