Well, I don’t know about you guys, but April seriously flew by for me. I loved April because the weather finally started warming up and we celebrated Easter this month. I thought it would be fun to do an April round up and look back at some of the highlights of this month. I’m going to share what I have been loving, buying, doing etc per my Instagram! If you want to shop any of the outfits or items in these posts you can do so by either by following me on the LiketoKnow.it App, or by scrolling through the items below each picture.
Let’s get to it…
I shared my first ever try on sessions on my stories earlier in the month, with one of my favorite store, Old Navy. Old Navy happens to be one of my favorite places to shop. They always have good sales, good staple items, and just cute stuff in general. I literally snagged the comfiest hoodie yesterday for only $10.00. I also bought everything I am wearing in this picture, I’m a sucker for pastels!
It’s been a while since I shared any home decor / home updates so here is my living room in it’s most updated form. I have to say, I think it came together nicely. My best piece of advice is to decorate little by little, be patient, and it will all come together. I also shared a few before photos here, so you can get the full effect. You can see a full swipe through here, and see all of the different stages it’s been through since we bought our house.
Wrap dresses are SO in this Spring and I am obsessed with this cheery yellow one I found. Also these wedges are super cute, and comfy! They’re so perfect for Spring & I can see myself wearing them A LOT. @vionicshoes is all about style without compromising comfort! Now that’s something I can get behind. They also want to empower women to be unstoppable during their everyday lives. As someone who lives a super busy lifestyle I can’t tell you how much that means to me.
This guy right here is the best. He deserves a little bit of bragging after the month we had. While we got to go on fun trips, and do a lot of new things together April had it’s challenges, but we persevered and made it through. I am so thankful for my hubby and our ability to work as a team and get through anything together!
How can anyone not take a picture with this adorable heart wall? This shot is from our weekend trip to Washington DC, at the Union Market. The Union Market is one of the best places we have visited for food! They literally have over 20 vendors, cool seating, and just the overall best vibes. You can read more about it in my post, 5 Things to do in Washington DC.
My favorite dress is back in stock! You can shop it here, I’m also linking some similar ones for you. This dress is so feminine and pretty. It’s perfect for all your Spring/ Summer festivities!!
Another trend that is back? DENIM SKIRTS! All the 90’s babies rejoice. I am so happy these are back, I love them so much. You can dress them up or down, but I decided to dress it down and pair it with one of my new favorite graphic tees from Thread Tank! They’re shirts are good quality and they have the funniest and best sayings on them. I HAD to get this one, and I don’t think it could be more accurate if it tried! You can get 10% off until June with code “MESHKO10”.
This month we got to check something off of our travel bucket list, and that was seeing the Cherry Blossoms in Washington DC. It was SO beautiful and I highly recommend making the trip if you have never seen it yet.
Flat lay comes to life! I thought it would be fun to share both a flat lay and what the outfit looks like on. I am all about cute outfits that are affordable!
I found the Instagrammers paradise on my trip to Washington DC, and it’s in Georgetown. I mean look at this flower shop? It’s amazing! Everywhere you looked there was beautiful colorful houses, cobble stone streets, coffee shops, and shops! My favorite kind of place.
