Happy October, friends!
Can you believe it? Fall is officially here! I don’t know about you, but once labor day hits I’m full blown Fall mode. I already made a super cute and fun DIY Fall wreath for my front door, you can see it here. I had a few people reach out to me about the wreath and tell me how talented I am, and guys I am flattered but it’s so simple! What I do is use a grapevine wreath and then I bought some seasonal flower stems/pumpkins. Then you cut the stems short and shove them into the wreath! For the bow I bought some gingham ribbon and made it into a bow. If I can do it, then so can you! I’ll be putting up the rest of my decor soon, ordering my first PSL and celebrating Fall in the best ways possible.
What do you think of first when someone mentions fall? For me my mind immediately goes to pumpkin patches, football, apple picking, and of course cider donuts. Autumn has always been one of my favorite seasons ever since I was a kid. There’s just something so nostalgic about the fall, especially the colors of the leaves. I am so excited for what’s to come this season.
Recently my husband and I went on an awesome day date to a local orchard and had the best time. Sun flower fields, hard cider, country music, and baby goats, what more could you ask for? They also had a carousel and giant yard games, like checkers and Jenga. My favorite part though was definitely the sunflower fields. I never knew there was so many different types of sunflowers and they are all so beautiful. I couldn’t get enough! They even let you pick your own flowers to take home.
I wore my new favorite dress that I actually bought off of Amazon! I was hesitant at first to order it since I never bought clothes from Amazon before, but it was so cute so I finally just did it. I’m obsessed with the buttons on the front. It’s the perfect dress for transitioning from Summer to Fall. You can also add layers and some boots and it would look really nice. Did I mention it’s under $20.00?
